"discipline" theories compatible w/ tcsIs anybody else here familar with Glasser's Noncoercive Discipline or Kagan, Kyle, and Scott's Win-Win Discipline? I'm getting my MA to teach art and I find a synthesis of these two models to be complimentary to TCS and probably the most preferrable method for facilitating classroom interactions. What does anyone else think? I've also found a great curricular model called Choice-based Art Eductation.

Win-Win
I haven't heard of the specific names mentioned but I am very familiar and happy when I'm creating win-win situations, whether that be with discipline and/or otherwise. Peace!
Win-Win
Yes, I am quite familiar with it but i've never seen it put in place into a classroom. I am taking a Classroom Management course and I have to present this philosophy to the class. It builds on how students should be responsible and should be taught to be responsible for their own behaviors. There is a website for Spencer Kagan and explains it depth.
